I believe the IDK pickup is a 37 Ford.

Not surprisingly, the Bentayga seems out of place to me , among the cool older cars - it requires real dedication to keep a V12 XJS or old Lotus on the road.

Ooh thanks!

And yeah the Hummer was weird too. I guess they’re expensive and powerful and stuff, but I’m just against SUVs at these things.

Side note: the color on that Jag was incredible in person.

I’ll take the woodie. My grandpa had a 69 GT500, I’m very familiar with those. It says Bentle y in the light, you have been hanging out with Doug haven’t you!!

Yeah, I also feel like that but I also don’t really like cars that they bought yesterday at C&C and you know they are cars they are not allowed to work on themselves or the dealer will void them! I would be all over that woodie in the pics, I want something wood so badly!

I definitely look out for all the quirks and features now lol but I was also cracking up my friend who came with RCR-type remarks.

At first I thought, ouch.. I'm kinda like that. But I'm thinking you mean more like the McLarens and such right?

Yeah if some tech kid who knows nothing shows up with a new Lambo and he just keeps saying it’s fast, I hate that. If they had something pretty quirky or rare I don’t mind. We had a Japanese guy show up for 15min with a LFA, he said he saw the C&C online and wanted to let people see one in person. That was cool, I built the Lexus booth  a couple times for the auto show and I did see one with a rope around it, never saw one where I could really check it out and have someone point things out.

That XJS is also a late run model, maybe in the final group sold here.

Eventually so few Hummers will survive in pristine un- dbagged  condition, that they will be a special interest vehicle.

I am not a fan of that either, buying your way in so to speak. I am more interested in a 1978 Datsun that is an ongoing project than a new Bentayga bought with dirty money by a rich kid.

The woody in in the background is a 40 Ford.

My grandpa had a woodie like that, I only saw it in pictures. I have a fantasy where I take one of the Power Wagons on my friend’s property, that need total restoration, and make a woody wagon cab myself from the doors back, mine would be M37 based since he has those and the WM300 prices are skyrocketing. The tops are skinned I believe, or we could use aluminum. All flat glass, I don’t think it would be too bad.

The wood would be a challenge - for optimal usage, one might consider faux painting.  Cool things though, and they definitely have a look.
